Gina Jobe Ishman serves as the Circuit Clerk for Montgomery County. In her newly elected role Gina serves as the courts “official record keeper” and business manager on all court proceedings held in the District and Circuit Courts.  While the Circuit Clerk serves as an administrative arm of the Court, the primary responsibilities are to maintain court records and manage the collection and disbursement of court funds for the court system with integrity and security at all times.

On a daily basis, the Circuit Clerk’s Office interacts with the public while managing court pleadings, collecting fines and fees, preparing subpoenas and issuing court notices for scheduled trials and hearings.  These court records are divided into ten different divisions that include Small Claims, District Civil, Circuit Civil, District Criminal, Circuit Criminal, Domestic Relations, Child Support, Traffic, Juvenile and Warrants. 

In addition, as a constitutional officer, the Circuit Clerk has the responsibility to serve as the Absentee Election Manager for Montgomery County.

Prior to being elected as Circuit Clerk, Gina served as the Deputy Clerk for the Montgomery County Circuit Clerk’s Office for four years. Gina is a graduate of Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. She is member of the Alabama Circuit Clerk Association.

Continuing to serve the community and being a true public servant is Gina’s passion. Gina is committed to ensuring that the Circuit Clerk’s office operates efficiently and provides courteous customer service to the citizens of Montgomery County.
